Once every year, poetry magazines and press editors may nominate from their publications by May 15, a poet who has made a significant contribution to poetry for inclusion in an upcoming Heroes Congress.

Poets who write in languages other than Irish or English are welcome as are translations of their work into English or other International languages.

Either the editors, or the poets, can send in up to 10 new and unpublished poems for review through the online submission manager. Poems are chosen to show the vitality and range of current writing.

Nominations are also accepted from our partners, patrons, and esteemed moral supporters.
